Our Story:

Our journey began with a simple yet powerful focus: seek to understand how the system can better serve children, families & communities, AND to advocate for those navigating the complexities of the system to decrease harm and imporove outcomes.  As we came alongside children & families, we saw the patterns, listened to the stories, and followed the data to uncover the areas where change is most urgently needed.

Compelled by a commitment to justice and a belief in data driven approaches, we are transforming our insights into action, crafting solutions that empower, transform and uplift.

Courage Collaborative is founded by a group of dedicated advocates, activists, and change makers who know the depths of harm caused by these systems because we have lived them. 

We have been both called and compelled to action by what we have experienced and  what we have learned.  

Courage Collaborative was born out of a belief that we can create a better, safer world for children and communities if we are willing to harness the power of courage and collective action. 

We are eager to expand our programs to repair the system from the inside out, improving the safety, stability and wellbeing of communities while championing the best interest of children. The Solutions are clear and within reach if we choose to come together for the best interest of children and communities. 

**Our current work is focused in Northern Indiana near St. Joseph and Elkhart Counties.  If you are outside of our area, we hope to expand to your community in the future.**
